That´s why every custom ordered door is individually engineered to maximize strength while minimizing the weight. Less weight means less stresses imposed on the building and ensures a longer lasting, trouble free door system. Our bottom drive design allows easy access to the motor and electrical components for maintenance and servicing. And because the drive system is completely self contained on the door, installation is greatly simplified because no modifications or mounting hardware is needed on the building.

Standard Features

Safety

We know that your door may not always be operated by you. That´s why all Diamond Doors come equipped with a built in safety switch which prevents accidental operation of the door while in the locked position. Upper and lower limiting switches accurately and reliably turns off your door when it reaches the top or bottom of its cycle. For added safety we offer other optional features such as photo eyes, safety edges, and constant pressure switches recommended for high traffic areas, or for where children or pets are present. Our electrical boxes are equipped with a circuit breaker to prevent overloads and excessive wear to the motor. Quantity and size of lift cables are specked according to door size and weight, providing a minimum safety ratio of 4 to 1.

Security

With the introduction of our automatic locking system, you never have to worry about leaving your door open again. With the press of a button your door travels down and automatically locks at the bottom, securely sealing itself against the building. And whether you choose our single handle, or automatic locking system, the door securely locks from the inside of the building keeping would be thieves out, and your equipment safe inside.

Clean Appearance

Our internal truss design leaves the exterior looking clean and seamless. Because each door is a different size, trusses are custom built with adequate rigidity to prevent sagging when in the open position, regardless of clear span. Interior is bright with optional cladding or with white insulation package. You´ll be the envy of your neighbours with not only a well functioning door, but a good looking one too.
