Opener Speed Increase Upgrade:
Increases the opening and closing speed from 14ft per minute up to 28 ft per minute.
Harsh Environment Upgrade:
Some environments demand a more robust, sealed enclosure to house electrical control components. This upgrade replaces the standard (Nema 1) steel enclosures which come standard on all doors. The steel enclosures do not protect against humidity or fine dust which can penetrate into the smallest electrical components and interfere with door operation.
This upgrade provides a watertight / oil-tight enclosure for electrical control components. This includes the main control box as well as the up/down/stop push-button controller. Polycarbonate enclosures are impact resistant and include rubber seals and watertight electrical connectors.

- Wash bays
- Dusty / harsh environments
- Humid environments
- Hog / dairy barns
- Potato storages
Other common harsh environment upgrades include the following:
- Stainless steel aircraft grade lift cables
- Stainless steel hinge pins

Photo Eyes:
Electric Photo Eye Sensors are mounted near floor level used to prevent or stop the
door from closing when an obstruction brakes the detection beam. All Bi-Fold Doors
installed on residential garages must be equipped with an electric photo eye.
